    FASTech Nitro to BL

    Hello all,
I picked up a Fastech Nitro boat from the hobby shop last summer, ran it a few times but was not happy with the Nitro setup also put a 36X55 Grimracer prop on it. So now im looking for some advice here.
Im looking at Converting it over to a BL set up, I have a Novak 17.5 Havoc Setup that im going to try in it. The motor will spin 2,200 RPM, I also have a 13.5 Motor 3,300 RPM. But I think the 17.5 will do the trick, it will probbly have 2C lipo's. Is there any thing that I should look in to doing to the hull, or is this just silly to do?This will be my first Brushless boat, and my first adventure to the Boat building world! Any help will be much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Ballard

Yes, I have sniffed around a bit. But didnt seem to find the stuff I was looking for. As far as,

        1. Will the Hull Take the power of the BL motor thats going to be in it?

        2. Will the Bl system be okay if cooled properly?

        3. Whats the main dif. in the Nitro and elec. Model is any thing hull wise?

The hull will take the power.
The bl system should be fine if kept from getting wet.
You will have to seal all the holes and make sure to tape the hatch when you run.

Okay, thanks. I guess all I need to do is Find out what Motor mount would be best to use. And Get Started!
Any one know what kind of speeds I should see off 2s2p Lipos?

Did you ever got around to converting your FASTech nitro to brushless?

I'm not sure how to mount the motor on the rails, any ideas are much welcomed!
