Scott, hopefully you still have one of the epoxy hatches in stock. PM me paypal info for payment. I'll need that pin you were talking about and I'll also take the tupperware lid shipped along with the hatch. Thanks.

I bought a mystic last fall and also a Spartan. I swapped in the spartan electronics to the mystic with a mod to the tupperware (heat gun) and cut the clamp off the bottom of the castle esc. We recorded 42.5 MPH with an x442 on 4s (2 x 2s gens ace 40c 5000mah's) I also tried it on 6s with two gens ace 3s and it was ballistic. I totally killed the stock plastic canopy too. No gps on the 6sOn 4s the temps aren't even worth mention. Everything is under 100*F except the caps at 105*F.
off topic but thanks Scott for the new canopy, I can't wait till it comes :)Comment

What are the specs on the spartan motor and esc? I just ordered my new setup for the mystic. Can't wait to get a gps on it and hope it hits 55mph. Scott's canopy's are solid, definately a necessary upgrades for the miss geico and mystic. After seeing how strong the canopy is I've decided to carbon fiber the interior of the hull to match its strength. Stock the canopy is flimsy, with Scott's canopy it looks like the hull is flimsy in comparison. Theres not much support there once you pull out all of the wood inside.Comment

Update:
Sold my boat just as it got finished, new boat owner did some gps runs and got back to me today on it. I carbon fibered the hull, seaking 180, fightercat tp 4082 2200kv, 4s. 63mph on octura x645 and 57mph on tfl cnc 445. Looks like I was successful at building a 60+ mph proboat. Thanks to Tiqueman for giving me advice on what setup to go with.
