    Darin,
Do you know anything about these battery? I saw somebody else on youtube with this battery for MG and he said it was good. I'm not going racing with other on first day so I'm not ready to drop 200 bucks on awesome battery pack yet.

I don't have any experience with anything outside of Thunder Power, in the past 3 or 4 years. You'll have to check with others who may have.

I do know that GrimRacer packs are excellent alternatives...

If you are running 4S, a pair of anything decent over 5,000 mAh, is where you'll want to start. I like to run my Miss Geico for P-Ltd Offshore with a pair of 6600 mAh Thunder Power 2S1P packs... But there are lots of other options and combos out there. A pair of 4S1P packs, wired in parallel, is another good option for increased runtime. Just keep an eye on motor temps.

I read a some review and people say they're pretty decent. These should be good right?

I'll buy a charger too. Any suggestion would be great.

            Thanks

I,ve bought a pair of those GENS Ace 5000mah 7.4V packs and there working great. I run them in my BJ29 and my Mystic and they seem to have plenty of go. Not to keen to run 3S packs in the BJ29 even though it says you can.

I also bought the Turnigy 4 port charger. Ideal with running the 2 boats as I'm always charging/balancing 4 packs. Plus it's got a heap of charge/ storage options.

Yes, ended up buying the black jack + 2 x of these battery and a thunder ac680 charger along with some adapter for the wire. I didn't feel like soldering battery right off the bat. From reading forum seems like these batteries you could get a bad one with solder and I would still have to do it. Cross my fingers :D

                Thanks all

I am running 2) 3s poweredge 5000mah 30c in the BJ29 (stock wiring set up) motor ESC has stayed cool so far havent GPS yet but heck of alot faster than my 2s 6oc batteries! Just getting it to quit hopping so I can get a full speed run! Very happy w/ these proboats! I am gonna buy the MG v2 shortly. Good luck its addicting.

battery came yesterday.. both gen aces 5000 mah they charge to about 2500-2600 mah on both and stop. I read and people say that's ok since they usually half charge when it's ship. Boat should come today! can't wait
