I moved the strut up and ran it with 30c packs and I ran the whole packs down to cut off... no melting... 50c packs connector melts off. I maintain my boat to a t. All connectors are tight. And like I said all the other temps are right around 100. I just ordered a seaking 120 so we will see what happens. Thank you everyone foe your input. It just seems like the esc should go first before the connectors.

            Ok that will help,
On a two minute run what are the temps at the 5.5 bullets at all connectors ?
Can you try the 50c packs in something else ?
Are they 50c hard packs ?

How much difference in weight are the 50C from the 30C?

If they are heavier, putting them further back may help a little. The weight may increase amp draw. Check your radio to see if it is at full 100% end point?

              Just diggin' .

I think maybe the smaller esc wires are choking off current??
