    Mod Time

After receiving my MG some time ago and running it on 2s 50 5000nmh I decided it was time to hot it up a bit. I spent quite a bit of time looking through the MG forums at what people have done and the problems they have had. In order to fix the weak factory join that joins the top deck and bottom hull. I decided cut the hull apart and removed the balsa wood and bog from the join as this is the weak spot. I laid two layers one chopped mesh one cross mesh the full length. I did the same across the front and back too and now the join is supper strong.

I also decided to relocate water outlet to the back left top side. The second step was to fix the riding pads as they had dips and a slight curve, so it was time to blue print the riding pads and sharpen up the edges at the same time. I am now at the painting stage. I still have too glass in motor mount and Carbon Fiber Battery Tray.

            I have decided a 4074-combo leopard 4074/2000 & seaking 180 combo on 4s2p.

Sounds like an x645 may be in order for some super speed!!

Yet another rainy Saturday stuck in doors and unable to mount motor as the Heavy duty water cooled mount for Leopard 4074 / 4082 is for a v hull. The motor is about 10mm past bottom of mount. So will have to make mount extension at work or use some aluminum box cut to fit. I spent some time today looking at making decals on cheap transparent film to see what it would like here are some pic.

Should the mount for Leopard 4074 / 4082 using a leopard 4074/2000 fit MG, as the motor sits past the bottom of the mount??IMG_1075.JPGIMG_1074.JPG
