I did promise to lending you my quarter servo which I use in the 40" Cig boat (the boat still needs bondo to remove the hook) but return it to me after our boating as I will be using it by next week in a new gas hull.

I HAVE TAKEN THE WEEKEND OFF

Oh yeah, I have CF plate to make for someone.
oh ok, i thought you removed the battery trays too, seemed like it anyway

btw, i haven't started working on the boat yet, haven't had the time. but when i do start, i will wholeheartedly dive right into.
for now, i'm just learning and enjoying the conversation with you guys, and mentally preparing for it.

and shawn, this is me bowing down to you

You are correct sir in that I did take the trays out.I did this because they are problematic in stock form and come loose.I also trimmed them down so as to get them lower in the sponsons.I then re-epoxied them in.

It is good to read and learn as much as you can so that you feel more confident in the tasks that arise in building a boat.I don't know how much reading I did and continue to do to this day.Primarily props at the current moment, but 1 1/2 years ago I re-entered this hobby to find everything different.Lipo's and brushless motors were alien to me.Lot's of research and I haven't blown anything up yet. So KUDOS to you Ed,take your time.

Happy fathers day!!! I had a great day! This morning my wife and 18 month daughter came out for tue first time and watched me run boats!!! After about 20 min. my wife asked if I had any slower boats that she could try... She has never driven a rc before! She always says " they look boring". I took the twin genisis, stiletto and the geico. The stiletto is out of the question because it is a very overpowered tunnel that flips alot, the genisis is not much better "gps'd today at 68mph" and then we have my pride and joy "Cat A Strophy"!!! So she ran the geico with a very easy throttle finger... After about 4 laps she asked to open her up a little and she loved it!!!! Now she says she wants a boat the is not quite a powerfull as the geico but can handle well!!! I'm thinking stock geico/mystic... Best fathersday ever!!!!!

I forgot to say!! I was Sssooooo nervous to let her run the geico!!!! She knows that it has a custom paintjob that is from Canada and a custom hatch that is from Malina!!! I think that is why she was pretty careful with it... She got it up to about 45 mph a couple times!!!
