The Grim 3 blade that I use for my aquacraft sv27 is a nice prop and almost like the x440/3 but with a lower pitch. The x440/3 is a bit more agressive.

What prop size you guys recommend for the T600 1400kv on 6s pushing a 40" cig boat? Would a 46mm be adequate?
I'm running either a X646 or M648 in the 35" with the 1717,if that helps.

          Thanks Shawn! I have a 46mm and 47mm, but dunno if I have a 48mm.

I just finished re-installing the electronics in MG, so she's good to go ............. and if Im lucky maybe I could maiden the 40" Cig boat this coming Sunday. No details, no paint ..........
While Im waiting for my worker to finish the layup on the first product, I'll check both the hardware and electronics needed for the build to speed things up!

Thanks Jerry! Will try and get a vid of it by Sunday. If I didnt have that CC1515 sitting in my spare bin, I probably could've used a Leo.

Yo guys - with my typical FE boats, rudder is about 1.5" offset to the right from centerline. Gas boats are about 2.5"
              Any advice for a 40" boat? 1.75" - 2" perhaps?

In your MG, place your jacket at the center of the motor. There's nothing in front and at the back of the motor rather than free space. The windings are at the center and that's what produces heat.

Just trying to see how the 3 drivers look on the boat. I also taped the spoiler of the SW gasser. I think its a bit tall - but could be adjusted after molding.

The last pic is how I dry fitted the electrics to achieve the 30% CG. Thats 12" from transom.
It just looks weird having most of them almost in the center of the boat leaving the rudder servo all alone near the transom. Hahaha!

Hahaha - yup, headless drivers! The molds for the heads are separate, but just needed the bodies for measurement/positioning purposes. Electric blue stripes?
Hopefully I could find a good paint theme after the maiden on Sunday :)

You and the rest of my club! haha! I got some phone calls asking me if I would maiden the cig boat this sunday! If the T-600 cant push it, I could always convert the cig boat to a tugboat instead! hahaha!

Shawn - whats your thoughts on the spoiler? Too tall?
