When I got to the pond I noticed I noticed I could have spent a bit more time on the shrink wrap to get it tighter so I'm sure that would have helped? I'll try it again when I put the new shaft in. But no, I figured a little would come out and once the space filled its not going anywhere after that.

Thanks but got the call this week that they are in at my local shop. As I special ordered I don't want to stick them with it. Why are you swapping out the stock ones? What benefit do you expect to get?

Cool. I just prefer the octura. I just feel they are of better quality etc etc. No benefit in speed... just quality and last longer. I went thru my first pb shaft n 2 months. I've been running the same octura in some boats for over 2 years. And lastly, isnt the proboat one like 20 bucks? The octuras are 10.

Hi Guys, I put the kintec bushing in my MG but I trashed the strut in the process. Now the bushing is lose and leeks grease pretty bad. I'd like to upgrade the whole strut but not sure what to get. Any input would be great. Thanks

I to got the kintec flex+ new bushing, and some pic's would be great.
I have the flex in the MG now, and if I grab the prop, I can wobel the flex up and down a bit, not a good fit with the kintec flex and the stock strut bushing. I will try the T-man way, and spinn it out, but since this boat is not in Norway as of now, spare parts are a week ore two away.Don't want to mess it up.

well i never used the drill method i used the good old hammer and and old allen driver and gentle punched it out no damage at all you have to becareful but you can do it this way, use a nice bit of wood to rest the strut on so u don't damage it, guess us brits are not as finesse when it comes to this stuff lol

Well, I swopped out the stock one for the kintec last night. 5mm drill bitt with the smooth end, and pulled it out by hand.
