I think soldering is fun, and I do it 4 my friends all the time.'
I to just have a weller 15 and a 40 w, but lately I have borrowed a weller station, and oh my, so much faster to solder.I'm sold on one of those.

Not at all. I've been using a 40W Weller with a 1/4" wedge tip for all my soldering for 20 years with great results. No downside to an 80W, but it is overkill for bullets, even 8mm ones. Technique is more important that excess heat.

Exactly my point.

I've soldered 5.5mm bullets with a battery operated soldering gun, but guess what's going to be faster AND easier...

I hate it so much that I do my soldering in batches, that way I don't have to do it too often.
