      Had my first flip last night... Both hatches flew off.. luckily the top landed upside down.. so it didn't sink.. floatingdevice will be ready before next run..
      (btw: the water wasn't as cold as I imagined.....)

      Yeah.. and all the electronics lived to tell the tale.. :D

        did u tape the hatches? i even tape the inner hatch down the sides and the top all the way around.....

          for once... I didn't.. I usually tape the outer hatch..
          Going to look for solutions to make the inner hatch stick better - without tape..

            Guys... If you simply put just a small piece of tape at the front of the hatch cover, and at each back corner... just enough to keep it from coming off, you should be fine, and it's much easier than taping the whole hatch.

            On the Impulse 31, I had them get away from using the magnets and instead went to a positive locking system with a quarter-turn latch. Should stay put much better. I'm still going to use a small piece of tape, however.
