    My Miss G.

    Hi all!

Just got my MG, and I've run it a couple of times.
I run 2x 7.4V 5400mah (35C) - but it feels like the "oomph" disapears quicker that I think it should.. to the point that it becomes boring to run.. but when I charge the lipo's, I get 3000 mah into them.. it should be power left to spare.. right?

I run stock wiring, and the deans are getting warm, so is the wires...?

    Bragging pic..

I'm about to.. Soldering as we speak.. Will the heat cause so much resistance that I'll notice it in this way?

Yes... the 3.5's on the motor are even worse... They'll actually de-solder from the heat. 5.5's are a great upgrade here...

Nice pic! Out of curiousity, how long do you feel the "oomph" should last? Fast electric boats don't have long run times like RC cars.

I haven't timed it.. but I start notice it after 5-6 passes..
I've soldered som bullets on the batteryleads last night, and I'll change the ones on the esc/motor later today - will be back with report on how it goes..

Bullets on the batteries, and hardwiring the esc/motor.. worked like a charm!
Don't know if it's a fact - but it felt quicker as well :D

It should be. Less resistance between the battery and the motor means more voltage, means more KV, means MORE RPM!

                Have FUN!!

Nice!

Too much restistance cause the heat, not the opposite
