The 442 should make it run great. Dont have any experience with the other 2. That LVC is too low, IMO. I have set mine at 3V and it barely comes in above 3V/cell. I wouldn't risk it just to get a few more seconds of run time. Also, make sure you set it for the voltage you will run. DO NOT run "auto select". The ESC will fail that way.

You might also want to get some kind of support under the back end of the motor. I wouldn't be surprised if the wood ripped out on a bad crash, which will happen with more speed. Even a piece of pool noodle zip tied back there would help.

Yes I have mine set at 3.2vlts but my run times are not all that good so I'm going down to 3.0 personally I think the x642 will be your best I hate my prather 220 it has been my worst prop to date

why i asked should i set it at 2.8v is that on the stock set up when i ran the batteries till the lvc kicked in , when i put them on the charger each cell was reading 2,4volts thats way under

Wow, this is fun reading you guys' trials. I just threw a Venom-500/2000 into my MG and on 4S with a T180 I ran 52mph!
I don't think I'm propped right, not getting enough R's 'cause I'm running a 41x63.5 stainless version of the stock prop. I also need to determine where the batteries need to live to get rid of the wah-wah.

Makes me think I'mwithin striking distance of 55 though!

WOW! i took the lizard out for its first test run today with this setup. amazing very happy. 52.4mph on 4s,
she was very flighty i must say. it had alot more throttle to go but wasn't game to stick it to it i nearly flipped it a few times.
                i was using a x442 prop. i have a x642 to try next time.
this boat looks so cool skimming across the water at that speed doing a bit of a chine walk lol
had a fab time and people around the pond loved it as well. :)

Motor Mount for 1515 with OSE water jacket?

                    Hello,

Does anyone have any suggestions for a specific motor mount to use for my 1515 with a OSE water jacket in my MG? I think I'd like to get a four bolt one.

                    Thanks,

                    Pete

i am running the same setup in my cat cept its a leopard 2200 t-180 on 4s. i run x442 m440 and m445. the 445 is the fastest by far. if the boat wants to come outta the water, try raising your strut up.

Thanks srislash, I'll update this thread if I am able to find to find something that works.

The stock mount will work. Just add some support under the rear of the motor.

You can use a 40mm dual leopard motor mount and use a fightercat racing cc ring which are $7 id say use there c motor mount but its longer than the leopard so the can wount fit. Overall it works great or as someone suggested use the stock mount I did with my 1512 and it was fine no back support
