    Repaint after repair

Still thinking about final paint but this is the progression.

Good start! Check out what a few accents items can do.

Oh, and if you haven't already, reinforcing the canopy is a MUST.

Pulling most of my supplies from the professionals around me. Cool stickers though. Just trying to stay inside the lines on such a small scale....:) I used Awlgrip with a reducer and a metal flake.

Seems that replacing the magnets with quick turn fasteners would be a good choice? Thinking of adding a third one in front and filling the factor "pin" mount, thoughts?

I installed the rear kintec quick locks for the hatch and for some reason they are very hard to get to lock seems like they should be a couple mm longer but its a great idea

I have ordered the Kintec fasteners. I had planned to bed their height with epoxy/fiber. Am I in for surprise?

I am confused. Did you set your lid level and shim/dry fit the base prior to installing the base peice? If so, what went wrong?

I had to shim the insert higher also.

just a little fyi on the hatch pins I ran up to ace hardwere and the nut in the lamp repair section is the same nut as what comes with the pins I used it to adjust height up now works perfect kintec might want to include a extra nut since they wont work with out it
