    Prop question for Blackjack 26

    Hey guys,
I have a blackjack 26 that has been modded up. I am running a ammo motor with a hextronic ecu both are being water cooled. The hardware has also been upgraded to a inline setup. My question is i am running a grim racer 36x55 1/8th shaft prop on 14 cells and the boat is a monster! but its running way too hot. this is after doing a couple of passes and bringing it in to double check on everything. I would say about 3-5 mins of run time. I'm not very good at choosing out props and was wondering what you guys think a step down would be to make my motor run cooler? any input would help me out. Thanks!

to tell you the truth i'm not sure what kv the motor is. I bought it sort of the way it is and there is a water jacket on it. I'm running 14 3600 nimh cells. should i try the x632 guys?

Most people use a brass sleeve to use the x642 on the bj26 3mm shaft.

            Or simply make one.

I would not jump to the x642. Its much more pitch than your current prop. The x632 is a bit smaller than what you have, but may experience cavitation problems because of the reduced diameter. You could also try reducing the diameter of your current prop a bit.
