    I say get after it. It's not that bad damage if you ask me I have seen alot worse & fixed them
    It will be at the very least a great education on fiberglass repair for you & trust me if you are going to be doing RC boat racing any length of time it won't be the last one you do either.

    You just might surprise yourself how well you do
    Good Luck & remember you can not make it any worse :-)

            looks decent... just needs a sanding and another light coat with a brush to fill it in a little...

              I've run it like this through about 3 packs of batteries and it's fine wouldn't know it had been repaired, especially when its blasting round at 30mph+ :)

              To be honest though that portion of the boat is out of the water 99% of the time!

                  obviously... in your previous postings you made mention of the looks... you d be surprised how a little 80 / 100 grit and some final light brush strokes will finish it up like new...

                  i used to fix my sv27 all the time... i spent almost 20 years doing fiberglass work on surfboards so this isn t my first bbq... now my boat looks like crap but she sure goes good...

                  anyway, glad to see shes been fixed... have fun with it...
