water jacket?

Well I took the boat for its maiden vvoyage....pretty fast on 6 and 7 cell promatch...water kinda choppy....Is there supposed to be water streaming out the side of the boat from the water jacket? There was no stream at all....it reached the jacket..but no stream. Sorry I'm a noob..

Can you blow thru the system? What cooling can are you using and on what?

Yes, you should be getting at least some coming out but not a hard stream.

Just check your system from the pickup to the exit.

Yes I sprayed electric motor spray thru pick up and it spayed out the exit so I guess something was clogging it.....

the stock water jacket will come of with just a twist you may also need to hold it in a vice but be sure to protect the motor and don't over tighten.
it may be a little stiff but try not to put pressure on the inlet and exit nipples as you may damage them

What is it like threaded on there I dont have to unscrew anything? When I blew the motorspray thru the pick up all is well now thanks......
