    back to props again

ok, so with lipos on their way over on a plane right now, I gotta get the prop thing straight. I know a lot of people recommend the octura x642. However, it's not cheap, and being in Canada, rip off to get it from the US.

What's a comparable CF prop out there to the x642?

    anyone?

Looks like the prop below has the same diameter as the x642 at 1.65", but the pitch is lower at 2.31" vs 2.64".

Anyone try this one out? What's the size and pitch of the stock prop?

edit, looks like the stock prop is: Prop Size: 1.6 X 2.5 in Composite

That means the size is a little bigger which is ok, but the pitch on the stock one is higher than the 2.31

is the x442 more conservative than the x642? Or is it the other way around?

Yes the X442 has less pitch so less distance/revolution.

perfect. I don't wanna spend the money that a sharpened and balanced prop costs, so I would prefer to stick to the cf ones. thanks for the help.

              Kookie guy.
You should be able to run a K45 prop on that setup. I would suggest getting one of them at the same time for testing.
              Cheers.
