Are we not talking about the Sv Motor vs The BlackJack Motor..By the way I open a SV motor today...i'm tempted to open the BJ's But the SV motor has 6 magnets on it's rotor it looks like a mini Neu motor inside.. from what I can tell the SV and The Bj is about the same from the cans I'lll open the BJ and take pics and compare them...

Im sorry, I thaught you where saying a PB BL motor is less powerful than a SV BL motor. I think it's the oposite. I believe the PB BL motor is a bit more powerful of a motor than a SV motor.

oops look like we mis understood each other!

Sweet. After running both I am sticking with the PB motor being more powerful than the SV motor.

My PB motor on a 642 prop on 4s1p 25c lipos does'nt even hit 100 degrees F. The SV motor on the other hand, on a 442 and 4s1p hits about 125 F.

I like the PB motor better. Our club is having a meeting Jan 13th. We are gonna vote on the BJ 26 brushless being able to run with the SV LSO class. I vote yes. I think most other people are gonna vote yes, I sure hope so cause I have been stocking up on PB BL motors LOL. Also, people like Mich.Maniac who are joining the club like the PB BJ26, and thats fine! I'll say this though, stock PB BJ26 on 4s1p is about 36-37MPH. Last race of the year a SV27 a guy had was running a x440/3 and 4s1p PQ 3700 20c packs. He hit 37 on GPS. Looks pretty even to me. I just like a cooler running motor. Makes me think I can prop up more. I did'nt have the BJ26 long enough to play with more props before the temps dropped. But as long as I can race these motors man I am gonna run the crap out of them.

Yea I agree The BJ motor all the way... I also like the BJ's ESC it's seems like a better quality set-up...The esc is rated at 5 more amps than the sv and also more voltage. Just a lil to darn expensive to buy separate though although I've seen them for under 70 a piece. I'm tell you guys a Ammo 2600 on 4s in both is fire on the water.. we did 47 plus in our SV my cousin wouldn't prop down....I didn't like that grim 45x68 just to big unstable a 642 would have wound that motor out to higher heights

Is it the Ammo 36-56-2600 motor that you tried? Stock ESC?

Yea, we used the stock esc's....Just prop down to maybe a 42 or even 40, I used a 645 on the BJ It worked fine with 6's until i was in a haste and forgot to program the Esc for lipo...then poof the green smoke chi ching :D then the smell of death...the key here is we only used them for drag racing not ovals so ovals might put a lot more torture on those esc's...Steve should get some of those Ammo's the 1800's and the 2600's...I personally think the 2300 is kinda small not to much torque..and their(1800's & 2600's) cheaper than the 2300 / half$

Ok I opened Both Motors The SV and the BlackJack...Both have 18 slot stators the Sv rotor has 6 magnets and the Blackjack is one magnet like the feigao rotor but with a black coating on it. Just decided to inquire some more of the BJ rotor come the find out the black coating is cover the magnets there are actually 6 magnets like the SV motor..I knew these 2 motor were the same the cans look the same just minor cosmetics wire covering color and copper wire is darker on the SV stator.
