and still running a bit dry, almost flip it but saved it, it did some thing like a tail walk with a twist and landed upright, hit the throttle and kept on going, 3/4 throttle in the turns, a bit hairy but a good run.
thanks again tiqueman for your knowledge with these ESC, just learned somthing new,
    Don't trust auto.
Im glad to hear that was the issue. Actually I dont have any of the Swordfish but I do have a few of the Turnigys and just figured the same concept. I still would have thought 6S would provide a bit more then 51. I dunno though, I could be way off.

Well concidering the weight I'm pretty happy with 51, but I'm still messing with prop angle and cog so hopfully it'll get better, I guess I should be in the high 50s, about 55-58 don't you think?

Thats kinda what I would think. I found that adding a cell usually gets me 7-9mph. I found this using the PB motor/ esc in a 32" cat. I ran 40.4 on 4S and 48.5 on 5. Id think that 6S would have put it in the mid 50s easily. This boat is a much heavier lay up than the stock BJ26. Also, its 6" longer.. those speeds were also done with a 442 prop as it did not want to swing a 642 in that hull.

Nice set up, so maybe when I get my x640 prop set up I'll pull more rpms, the x645 really got it on plain fast but you need a long run to get the rpms up, the x642 ran good and I should try it again and see what speed I can get out of it now that I'v changes some setings.

Thanks it doesnt look that way anymore.. it did this, and now it looks like this... Be sure to solder better/ larger bullets on your motor/ esc.

Remember, larger props do not always produce more speed.

              Did that, 5.5 bullets.
But check this out, twice now a motor solder connection came loose, once on athe white wire and then again on the blue wire, I believe it was just a bad soldering job by me probably a cold solder joint but the last run everything seemed ok

Are you still running the stock motor? In regards to your strut adjustments....is it best to run it deep? Shallow? Positive angle? Negative angle?

                Thanks!

Yes, stock motor. well I've been moving my strut up and angled it to surface {positive} but relized I was losing speed so now I start it level with the hull with just alittle pos, then moved it just a little deeper w/pos angle and my speeds have been incressing.
with strut high and w/pos angle it pushes the transon down and if to much of angle it's hard to get on plane, so you just have to play with what works best for your set up, strut and prop angle, cog, and prop size.

Well I took the BJ out the other day with an x645 prop and raised the strut up with alittle pos angle and WOW! I hit 56.0 on the truth o meter, but dnf it went air born, should have moved the bats fwd alittle, A blow over @ 56 is indeed scary, it poped some paint off the hull, but no other external damage.
It did take on water and now things stoped working, recever, servo, and bec, hopfully when things dry out I'll be readfy to go again, I know it will go faster becauce I don't think it had time to wind complete out, but 56, was awsome.
