        5S on stock ESC

I have an order for 2s and 3s 4900 Rhino Lipo's, can I run this with stock ESC? Running stock hardware, full flex, modded interior, and X642 S&B.

One thought, why waste money on a dying (dead) battery technology. They will not handle the current drain for long before bolwing cells. Go LiPo for cheaper and faster.

and you will not have to cycle the batteries. There are some inexpensive LiPo batteries available from Zippy and Turnigy and they have had good reviews from members on this forum.

I humbly admit....I thought those were lipos lol....I better learn to read a bit closer.

I would like lipos in the 6s 5000mah range, does zippy and turnigy have those?

Those batteries are much cheaper than the maxamps I intended to buy. If you guys say there good thats good enough for me, I will order those to use in the Blackjack.

What would be a good esc to use with these, and do I need to use a bec?

I really like my Etti 150a. Its a bit of overkill, but this thing has not failed me and it also gave me a little leeway on my propping selection.

I got my Etti without a built-in BEC, and i installed an external castle creations one myself.

The x-force 100amp may also be a good alternative, although i haven't had any personal experience with them.
