I hate that because i'm always at a disadvanrage running my boats in my freash water lakes.....Maybe you need to really rub on my next prop cause I'm counting on you to make up the differences.

I'm not sure. Less prop slip they say i've never tried salt water. Maybe I'll chuck a few deer salt licks out and transform mine and test...lol

I am no expert in rc boats but i have run offshore power boats in both salt and fresh waters and have seen no noticeable speed differences . Maybe there is a difference in these little hulls we play with, don't know for certain. I don't have any real testing to back up it up either way. In any case, I am not here to try to outrun anybody but myself.

So the salt water has more buoyancy we found the nitro boat were a few MPH faster

That's roughly a 4 mph improvement in this run with both runs being on salt water so you are doing something right. Keep twisting on things and you will improve even more.

Thanks mark. You have pointed me in the right direction on a few occasions . It wont be forgotten . After sending you that 1716 to test, i have learned not to take as much off the blades as i was. I think that was key .

Stock geico hits 83.5mph on 6s

NEW BEST SPEED! 83.5mph by the gps and 83.26mph (134kmh) by the logger. The boat held 5 steps of 83mph by the logger then It finally blew over. Not bad for a RTR boat on stock electronics running 6s..... Thanks for watching! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrxX...ature=youtu.be
