Hello!!! I’m planning on upgrade the motor and esc on my veles!! Any recommendations??? I have 1716 not from dasboata but from bonzi. I would like to keep my prop but I want a bigger and faster motor. Appreciate all help.

Hull and motor mount are solid on the veles;as for the motor:up to 40x82 will fit easily-additional motor support-plate recommended on the heavy ones though.
Is your veles already fine tuned and maxed out with the stock motor/esc combo?Madrcer has demonstrated more than one time of what the boat is capable if it is well prepped. Also think of runtime as your are limited on that narrow hull to use 3s in series-i once tested 2x 3800 mah 6s in parallel and that was a mess.Good luck.

              4s UL-19 and "other" 3831 equipped boats

4S - Black Pearl - Spec Sport Hydro- ABC 1815-17-45
              59MPH - 60MPH
              Setup for racing.

In the list on the right - it says Max speed - 60MPH

I could not find it on the map.

Yeah!! I saw his videos but I want something that I don’t have to look constantly for temp. I was thinking to use TP 3640 or 3650 with 180 amp esc 2080kv or 2400 kv on 6s

2400kv is too high for 6s in this boat or any other single equipped boat. Get you a Prather 220 or a x642 prop from dasboata and on 6s temps won't be an issue on with the stock 3831 motor. Speeds will be in low 60's running laps with a decent setup.

Yes, Assuming they will fit in the battery tray. Be careful running this boat on 6s (2x3s lipos) with the stock prop will overheat your electronics. If you want to run 6s you will need an Octura x442 prop to safely do so.

5s is the best option for decent speed and low heat while running the stock prop. (1)-3s pack and (1)-2 s pack of the same mAh and c rating. 5s 5,000mAh will get you around 4min of playtime.

You could, but by them being made from different companies you could potentially have issues if one was weaker than the other. I would only recommend using the same c rated packs that have the same mAh and that are manufactured by the same company. Those 50c rated nano-tech's I believe are rated at 25-50c, meaning 50c is the max output of the pack. You need a pack that can tolerate at least a 50c discharge such as the nano tech 65-130c rated packs. This forum has a lot of threads on batteries and if you do a search I'm sure you can find answers to all your questions about batteries.
