Made a strut adjusting jig for my Zelos. Used some aluminum bar stock Drilled and threaded a 10-32 Allen screw with a locking nut. I have it set at the stock 4mm now but it can be adjusted for whatever I want Looks like it will work on my Spartin as well. A lot easier than messing with the rulers

That's a great idea and beats my method of trying to hold a straightedge and scale while adjusting the strut.
As far as how long it is, I would shorten it to just the rear pads. According to the Proboat guy the boat only runs on the rear 2 pads.

It needs to touch only the rear two pads. The middle pad sits lower, if you measure across all 3. You want to set your trim off the pads that touch the water while on plane, which are the rear two pads.Rafael Lopez
