With the cable in hand turn it the same direction the motor would (prop tops toward each other). The cable should be wanting to tighten on it self and spiraling downwards toward the props. R labled shaft should be on the left of boat being the right hand rotating shaft. If the cable has been turning backwards, I would change the teflons out. They have been cooked.

Son of *****! I should of known from the last time I asked about the X447s with one being labelled X447R, at first I had it on the right, then was corrected to be on the left. Now here we are a few weeks later and I do a dumb move! Will swap them when I get home. I should be going back to the lake tomorrow, hopefully I have it sorted out by then. Thanks Erroneous!

Just shows how tough the upgrade cables are. No prob. This is why I love this forum.

rotate them inward and the flex shaft will coil downward, like a screw thread, but been reading about your problem lately and if you have flex shafts switched, one would think the other shaft would be doing same thing, since that one would be switched as well, unless you have 2x (r) or (l) shafts.

Ran the new battery configuration today by placing the two 3s batteries down in the sides and forward about 1". Lost speed, but it turned better. Not worth the trade off. Running stock with struts level, and wants to blow over at upper 60's. Going back to center mount pushed forward and will start adjusting struts.IMG_1634.jpg also lost speed from the detounged 447's and down to 442's.

That would certainly suck! Lets hope not! There is grease coming up a bit on the other side as well, just not as much as the other. My dad already swap them in a haste. Lol! Im stuck at work so I don't know what just took place at home.

Is that speed with Stock props and motors? What are you using to hold the GPS in place at that location? Velcro? I also noticed speed loss with detounged x447s.

sorry if I worded it wrong, I lost speed with the 442's. keeping the 447's on until back ordered shafts get it. Stock motors and esc's, drives level. GPS is held in with zip ties . I drilled holes in battery plate to zip tie tight

From what I understand the 442s are basically like stock props? The 447s I thought were heating up my stuff more until smoke but now I know the smoke is of another source. Might throw them back on for a quick 1-2 burst. I have on one of those floaty things on my GPS but haven't found a way to secure it.

I think kfx and a couple others were trying it. Check his water inlet thread.
