    Wanna go faster

I keep hearing these boats go 35mph stock. After my first outing I changed the
prop to a 42/55 grim racer. Iam running 3800 Nimh EP packs and on the first run
with gps only managed 29mph. Should I expect more mph with this combo? Want to optimize this setup before doing more mods Lipo's Motor.

    Thanks for the info.

Look into the Ammo 36-50-2300 motor which works with the stock esc.

Boat will be noticeably faster with this motor.

I havent looked and compared the two props, but the prather 220 is a great prop for the Supervee.

Buy a Feigao 12 L 2084KV, Then run an x442 with the stock ESC, you should easily see 42-43mph, Thats the setup I use on my white SV27.

The Ammo2300 with an x445 of m447 will probably get you 39-41mph on lipo's.

Either way will be very noticiable!!

I really want to find a different set up that will get me 40-45mph speeds.

So the 12L with the stock esc and a x442 Nate?

Yes, Id run two water pickups as-well, you should see 40-41mph on this setup,

on a calm day that is..

UL-1 motor and esc is a great combo! I reached speeds of 45 using a carbon 48. Plus the UL-1 esc has a low voltage cutoff so you can run lipo's without worrying about ruining your batteries.

Your biggest set back no matter what motor you get could be your batteries..

I run the stock motor, esc, and CF48 with 30c lipo batteries and run a constant 40mph!

Well ordered the ammo motor prop and water jacket to start. Will be changing
to lipo's after I figure out which charger to buy. Any input ?

                  Thanks again, Ken

I love my Hyperion ac/dc charger and I am running a UL-1 motor with the original 45 amp speed control and a Grim 42x55 prop. No heating problems yet and it will run in the low 40 mph range with no problem. A CF45 prop runs even faster but unless the water is glass it is just out of control.
