Help with SV27 and Fast radio

I am trying to set up an sv27 with my Fasst radio and have a problem. I am new to FE boats, but have been in RC for 20+ years.
Transmitter on, when I plug in the battery the ESC does a continuous beeping until I push the trigger to full brake. Then I get one beep (different tone than the the others), release the trigger- nothing- until I push full brake again, then the same single beep. Release trigger- motor starts. Will stop if I push brake, slightly accelerates when I pull the trigger. Runs continuous speed when I let the trigger go. I have tried setting trims, end points, everything I can think of, but nothing changes it. I even tried the ESC out of my brand new, never run UL1 with the same results.
    Any ideas? I'm totally stumped!
    T5hanks in advance,

Also once you reverse the trim lower the throttle trim until it arms. Then you should be all set.

Every single Futaba radio that I have ever used, in airplanes, helicopters and boats, needs to have the throttle channel reversed for the ESC to arm. Go figure.
      Don't get me started

        Agreed,

I had to do the same with my Futaba 3UCP (stick radio) when I ran the SV.
