Here are some snips of what R/C Boat had to say about putting the two Velineon 3500 Brushless Motors in the EX

        Project Villaineon
        The Verdict
I think a few of my fellow RC Boat Modelers Staffers where secretly hoping to see Project Villaineon end in a spectacular meltdown. But I am happy to report that the brushless equipped Villain was surprisingly drivable.

At part throttle with the NiMH packs it felt like a villain with a extra couple of cells. But lay on the trigger, and the speed just keeps on building. With the 3S LiPos, it's a handful, Only because the extra grunt put through the steerable outdrives made it prone to hooking. The straight line speed was truly breathtaking.

Project villaineon will flirt with 40mph.
