Any idea where I can find the CF45 in stock?

I agree use, a cf 45 prop ( thats what I use) and as to ur second question it is normal for the water to get fairly hot, but if your not geting enough cooling to the ESC and mottor you can use this pick up http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80410

CF props are good, I test with them all the time. I regularly use the 42x55 though. I enlarged the opening of the rudder pickup with a small rat file which greatly help increase the water flow. I currently use dual pickup though.

Have you removed the battery trays yet? I run the stock prop all the time when just running for fun and it planes well for me.

Did you try Kintec for your props?

Your going to need to remove the battery trays first and formost and recommended prop is a grim 42x55, try only to run lipos above 4000mah and at least 20c. Happy boating!
Watch out for that Deans Engineering LiPo saver...mine failed after about 5 runs and the manufacturer won't stand behind their product...destroyed an expensive LiPo. You are better off getting an ESC for LiPos...JMHO

Wow that sucks couldn't tell you how many runs I had on mine and never had one problem. I run ul-1 power for the last few months, so no lipo shield needed but like I said I never had 1 issue you must of got a bad 1. Sorry for your luck, I still think they are worth the price though.

Thanks, I'll give that a try later this week as long as the weather holds out. I haven't moved them forward yet.

I also saw the 45 carbon prop at kintec and was considering ordering it.

I had one off these (dimension engineering) fail when my boat crashed and got fully submerged. I sent it back and they replaced mine for free within one week.

Yeah, this place gets recommended a lot.

I'm taking the boat out to Lake Jordan tomorrow, with the batteries moved forward. Hopefully it won't cavitate as bad as it did this past weekend.
