I have a SV question for you guys. I want to upgrade my motor on my SV, the suggested upgrade model is this http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=dh-gpmg5290, problem is this motor is 6mm shorter than the stock motor and my aftermarket cooling jacket wouldn't fit. I'm looking at upgrading to this model http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=dh-gpmg5320. My question is would this be maybe a better upgrade than the suggested model and also if I was to upgrade to this model what would be a good Carbon filled prop to use, currently I run the CF42? I use two 8.4v 4600mah NIMH hump packs as batteries and not going Lipo till I order my UL-1. Also for an FYI question what is the big difference in performance between different lengths in motors i.e if a 36/50 and a 36/56 motor both have the same KV rating, what's the difference in performance?

Nice video Diesel6401, gives me an idea of what it is capable of.

I now have the SV27 on order along with grimracer grease, 42 and 45 carbon props, some hatch tape, and some good wide velcro.

I will install the 42 mm prop, grease up the drive cable, and do a quick tub test. Then it will be ready for wrapping and under the tree it goes till Christmas. Almost seems a shame dont it..lol

I thank you all for the tips, and Iam sure you will be hearing more from me, either when I get the boat and have any problems, or after christmas when he wants to upgrade stuff. Whew hoo, here we go!!!
