So now that I'm making the plunge to lipo I've been reading different threads on offshore and am wondering about deans connectors. Some people seem to hate them. Should I change them out or stick with what the vee came with? Just curious it sounds like a temp thing.

If you already have them in your setup. I would keep them as the SV27 is not a high amp setup. However, don't forget to change the plugs when they appear to have a weak connection or corrosion.Government Moto:

I run Deans in Mine and have no problems. I think a lot of the Deans issues begin when you start building a lot of power and drawing a lot of amps. But as Dom says, being as the SV is not a high amp set up, Deans would work just fine.Comment

Thanks guys. I really apreciate the help. The vee is my intro into the hobby and will be building next. I just wanted a rtr to make sure it was what I wanted to get into. I am a former boatswain from the usgc so boats are my love and everyone on here has been great so farComment
