Hey all, I stumbled upon this forum and it is very informative!
I just bought my SV27 a few days ago, and it is fast!
couple questions..
on my first run, it was VERY unstable, and actually flipped and i had to retrieve her.....dried it all out, re-greased the flex cable and its running like new again.
I adjusted the trim tabs down probably 5-7 degrees, as well as bending the inside corners 45 degrees like i saw in a previous post. it runs smooth as silk now! One question is..while it is obviously a bit slower now...will this harm anything other then speed?
one other thing..i noticed the batteries get pretty hot after 7-8 minutes. They are 6 cell NIMH 3300mah packs...they get to the point where i can only hold them for 20-30 seconds before it gets too hot. Is this normal?
Im in the process of silicone'ing the top lid to help in waterproofing...after that im going to seal the wood to help keep it from "rotting"
any other things i should know right out of the box?
thanks a bunch!
