I've been running my sv27 for a couple of months now exclusively on lipos. I have a novak lvc installed. I have modded my cooling system so everything stays within limits but I'm having a problem.
At low throttle the motor stutters pretty bad and causes glitching with the rudder and sometimes the throttle will not go back to shutoff. It will also do this near mid throttle. At full throttle there doesn't seem to be an issue. If I backoff going into a turn though, the glitchin will start again.
I have a seperate CC esc that I can use and bypass the on board esc. Do you guys think that it will help any? I thought that it was the stock TX and RX equipment, and I have changed that to a Futaba system that I had in a truck......but it is still AM and still no change. I will be putting in a FM system in the next few days when it arrives.
What I can't understand is it didn't do this all of the time, it just started. Do you think the esc may be going bad? I'm running the the Grim 42x55 two blade and the system has never when into a thermal shutoff. Everything always passes the "5 second" rule.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
