The prop is simply too much, if you want a reliable setup that will be as fast as it was in the vid go for the 1900kv with an m445........................all the batt and cooling stuff is irrelevant, you have way too much prop.
I found issues with the stock motor bullets... both my revolt and my ul1, under a heavy load they simply FALL OFF. I suggest checking this as the motor will seem to not work; drop on some nice 5.5mm or so bullets with your own solder and golden.
i have 5.5 conns coming also for everything in the boat the motor never quit it just really slowed down but i thing it will work well in my recovery boat im building after it cooled down seemed to be fine gonna test it in my pool before i have to recover my recovery boat lol

Mine did not fall off or even feel loose, BUT, they were leaned up against the plastic battery tray and melted a hole in it! So obviously there is some high resistance in these smaller connectors? The only mod I have is a 45x68 prop, could this be why they are getting hot, if so what should I beef up? Is there any issue with soldering the small wires to the large 5.5 connectors? Some of these 5.5's state they are for a specific wire size, such as 10awg or 12awg.

Well i replaced all connectors on mine took the water line spliter out and ordered two 4s packs 5000mah 40 c and shortened all the wires on eagle tree and esc hope this will help some
