Yep.. bad idea.. path of least resistance.. ya know.

3rd run and you have made that many changes? Can I ask why?

Truth is none of my "4S E stuff" seems to get over 115deg..(eagle tree sensors logged durring the run)

The prop is simply too much, if you want a reliable setup that will be as fast as it was in the vid go for the 1900kv with an m445........................all the batt and cooling stuff is irrelevant, you have way too much prop.
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Make a wake has the concluding word..

              RELIABLE!

the prop you have on now is MY FAVORITE prop BUT... I race my boats..I do not sport run them.

The prop you have now is FASSSST.. but.. again. Darin said it best.. Limit your run time.

So much to learn.. Your alright.. stick with it. We are all learning as we go.

I found issues with the stock motor bullets... both my revolt and my ul1, under a heavy load they simply FALL OFF. I suggest checking this as the motor will seem to not work; drop on some nice 5.5mm or so bullets with your own solder and golden.

Mine did not fall off or even feel loose, BUT, they were leaned up against the plastic battery tray and melted a hole in it! So obviously there is some high resistance in these smaller connectors? The only mod I have is a 45x68 prop, could this be why they are getting hot, if so what should I beef up? Is there any issue with soldering the small wires to the large 5.5 connectors? Some of these 5.5's state they are for a specific wire size, such as 10awg or 12awg.

                              Hi Tom,

I installed 5.5's on mine before it hit the water not on the motor side just the battery side of the ESC.
