The flex cable twisted off the shaft where the prop mounts, this is a brand new boat, I got 3 laps when it twisted off, is this a known issue with the stock flex shaft?

I ended up soldering it,,,poor joint from the factory -

turnigy's fit real nice with velcro removed
moved the RX to the side, why have it sit in the water
routed the ESC wire through the moter mount and wraped with a covering
rotated the servo horn 180 deg. and moved the control rod out 2 holes (had to drill out)Last edited by hobby_man; 11-10-2011, 10:03 PM.Comment

Your last post is a bit hard to read. You moved the RX to the side so it doesnt sit in water? Why would you get water inside the boat? How much are you getting?Comment

no water in the boat,,,,yet, I think it makes more sense to have the rx on the side out of harms way.Comment
