Check the connectors. Mine did this today, and the first thing I did was tug on one of the connectors, and it popped right off. Right then I new it was a bad connection. Got to run the boat a little bit, than it would shut off. Just like yours. Re-armed, and it ran a bit, than shut off. Sounds like the same thing your going through.

mine did the same on the second run should i have waited for the esc and motor to cool on the second set of packs?..wait a few mins then it kicks in..Comment

In a lot of cases it is because the esc is hot and reaches its auto shut off. Try drilling or using a small file to open the pick up on the rudder.Comment

cool thx...man first two maiden runs the flex shaft kept coming loose..I was sorta dumbfounded but after regreasing ,checking everything, tightening...finally it took off for a good solid run man thing turns even at speed..:) Ill probably keep it stock maybe upgrade to 5.5 connectors when they toast the stockers..Im only running in a retaining pond so it floats back to shore line or i get my mini rio to give it a push.Comment

well i did the cap MOD and it works perfectly! thanks again guys now the only problem that im having is the damn thing SUBBING on launch? i tried every thing i could, raising lower prop strut, angle + or - changing battery location and it still does it? im ready to trade this boat off and get soemthing else!!! anyone wanna trade for a miss vegas or deuce?Comment

I'm happy to here it worked out for you bud ,But subbing haven't had that happen yet,I think that maybe one of these guy's could fix that one,But if your ready to sale that boat you will have no prob on ose,good luck
