    UL-1 cutting off issues?

ok guys, this is my second ul-1 first had a runaway destroying the boat last year, decided to pick up another one. received it monday, had to wait till today to run since wind has been crazy here lately, anyhow tossed her in the water hit throttle, she sub-d a little at first no biggy ( that can be fixed later) ran about 2 laps around my pond and she shuts off? i row out pick her up, check packs, recharge toss again same thing just shutting off after about 30 seconds? take out the packs that came with the boat(used) throw in some 5200mah 2s 40c packs, toss her out again.... same frikin thing!? I have no throttle, after about 3- 4 min by time i row out to get the boat she will have throttle again then run for a few seconds and stop. i checked motor temps mid 80s, esc temps mid 70s, packs were around 8.30volts, so im thinking either esc is tatered or the tactic radio and rx is trashed? any ideas? I dont know if should throw in a spektrum rx and see what happens, run a rx pack and eliminate the stock bec? or just return the boat and buy NEW? Im frustrated this is the second boat now ive had problems with please help.

Try adjusting the th trim I notice I was hitting lvc under load and esc would not rearm because I had a bit of positive th trim it was with a sf120 but had me stumped today to and only ran it twice

One word....Capacitor. I assume that you have the 60 amp UL-1 controller...add a new cap and you should be good to go.

Before you do anything do what Grim said. I have had two motors do what yours does. All it was was the wires melted the solder on the motor side the connecting bullet. you can't see it until you pull the Esc apart from the motor because of the outer covering of the wires.

When is Aquacraft going to beef up those motor connectors?

That is why I use 5.5 conecters on everything. After soldering I put TWO layers of shrink tubing around the wire and bullet connecter
