    3 blade 1.4 pitch prop

looking for a prop a little bigger than an octra 440/3 I see the next size up in the octra line is 447/3 and I'm sure is to big for my p hydro whiplash. I use the 447/3 on my 1/8 scale with great results. Any and all help would be appreciated thanks

ABC makes a 1616, which is essentially a 40.6mm diameter, 1.6 pitch ratio. Nothing from Octura in that size, unless you had a 447/3 cut way down, but those are hard to come by to begin with.

My calculations is only .03" bigger than what I have the octra x440/3 don't think that would make a very big difference. What you think?

the 40.6mm diameter and same pitch ratio are not the numbers that matter here. The ABC props have more rake on the blades than the Octura props, which equates to more thrust. It also changes other characteristics like the amount of lift they produce at the transom of the hull.
