FWIW I'm trying to see how the pitch alone improves the speed as Fluid mentioned I need more of it. I don't want my boat to have excess torque effect or thrust with larger props because I want this boat to be very smooth at high speed . The T29 isn't a high speed boat by design so keeping it calm and predictable at full throttle is my goal.

Exactly ! With the same prop with more of it in the water I should have been in the 50's

Yea, it sounded like it was free-rearwheelin! :) I think a 442 or 642 will suit you better. I have a 642 I could send you to try.

That's ok , I understand we all can get excited , I'm guilty of it too ! Maybe we can erase some of our posts hear and clean this one up including the quoted ones so those go away too. I understand each prop to do is alone of work and focus and no two are exactly alike . I would hate to see these remarks floating around forever. I respect both of your skills very much and Fluids . I can take a punch a little better these days

I like really sharp props like the one I ran in the vid but I also bent on of the blade tips tightening the bullet nut with my hand ( wearing leather gloves) it bent in a way that it actually added pitch so I bent the other two the same. After my run they were straightened out again ! I suppose it was sharpened too much in the wrong area , it's a loaner prop

I make mine sharp like you see in the pic above but I don't thin them too much where they will bend. I did buy one from a "professional" and the first pass I made it bend the blades back. $60 down the drain. Lol. I have a few other props you might be interested in trying. Pm me this evening g and I'll look through my box. I know I have a 40mm stainless one that did 53mph on my small cat.
