I was thinking about getting a prather s-220. I found a site called rocket city racing and they have prather props in stainless steel and bronze. What is the difference in performance or anything for that matter?

I run a few Prather props & although the Stainless is a bit harder, a good set of files makes it easy. Plus they are already much thinner & better balanced than the Octura props so they don't take as much work to dress them up.See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

I am prepping an S220 right now, any tips for the final steps to get a mirror finish? also there is some small pitting on the front/pitch side of the blades, I wasn't going to touch that side but is there a way to get those out without changing pitch to much?Comment

A fine abrasive like a scotch brite pad or emery cloth would probably do the job on the pitting. Just don't go crazy and you should not change the pitch.Comment
