    conformal coating?

ive got a new esc coming in tommorow for my micro scat cat and i read somewere about conformal coating and ive also read about people just brushing plain old epoxy onto their esc`s to protect them from water. so i was wondering can someone please describe the differences to me and also maybe point me in the direction of a tutorial?

    thanks guys!!!

Can't use just plain old Epoxy. there is special stuff for for electronics called DP270 offshore carries it.

dp270 works fantastic. Ive had my esc under water more times coated with that stuff and there has never been a problem. Without it i was sending them back to Castle every month.

Andy Kunz is the first one I know of to ever use that on his ESCs. Good stuff.

I am sure other epoxies could work but I kinda like the electrical black coating that can be peeled off if needed.
