11XL on 6S is pushing the limits just that little bit too far. I run a 13XL on 6S with a X442 in my 31" cat and temps seem fine and I clocked 40-45mph (once). You'll have to run a small prop with the 11XL...

As for a prop I run the numbers to FEcal, an it suggested a octura M435/3 or grimracer 36x55.
According to FEcalc the amp pull is around 50amps +-.
Am I going of the deep end here boys??
I would suggest a 13 XL with that power or a

580 10L 1,326 RPM on 6S you will be able to use a larger prop with that motor

The esc will have to be high voltage (rated from 5 to 12S) and I would suggest 120 amp as a minimum dependant on motor and prop. Check the forums for a suitable boat esc.

        oki,
        shoping list:
        540 13xl
        120+amp HV

Seem that can't use the stuff I already have on this boat,
I'd better stop being a cheep, and fork up... hehe

Does anybody know when a 80a HV ESC can be usefull.

Thank you all for helping me, hopefully I can one day return the favor.

If you are buying a new motor look at the 580 series for that hull length if you are on a budget. If not NEU
