ok so the next problem is i know that motor diameter is a lot bigger then a 500 size car motor. the area where the motor is mounted is small and i had open up the space just to fit the 10 turn with the water cooling coil on it. so i believe that the 700 is much bigger and it wont fit. i should post pics but im at work and i will have to when get home.

you could still just use a 600 (same diameter as a 500, but has a longer can) on 6 or 7 cells...

yeah, but your esc cant handle the amout of cells the 700SC runs best with (12-16)....i think i would be better to use a 600....the 700bb 8.4 may work on 7-8 cells though...(being it says 8.4, im guessing it will get good performance on 7 cells)

I'd get the speed 600 8.4, and run 7-8 cells. Personally I'd watercool it and use 8 cells. Of course I wouldnt start out with 8, until I knew the esc was within limits.

                8.4 mean 8.4 volts, or 7 cells...

i cant really tell you what prop to use, but i would start with a 31mm and work your way up...

                      under 8-9 cell 600 handle K36, 600race handle K39 with watercoooling
700SC under 8-10 cell might not even need watercooling!!!

My cat, it's a kyosho Lambo copy, is 41" long, doesn't speed like a rocket but still ok, has 2x700Turbo C under 12 cell with watercooling, up to K42, dead cold (wonder if watercooling is needed at this point), with DD45 it's getting warm and DD51 it pretty hot!

I believe under 8 cells with K45 you don't need extra cooling, remember that this motor has a fan built-in, it is very efficient and cool down brushes and winding, but think about motor mount that must have holes for air circulation

keep in mind his esc is rated for 6-8cells. I was already thinking last night, he might want to water cool the esc some how. For good measure.

It's gonna be a nightmare to watercool this ESC,
the description says two heat sinks, but I only see the metal part of power components??? does it really have heat sinks?

yeah, it looks like the FETs are just sticking out, I dont know if you can let those tabs touch eachother. If you could, it would be pretty easy to just stick a brass pipe through all the holes, but that just sounds way too effective and easy, it would probably blow it up. :)

                              leave it as it is!
                              8 cells bat. pack
                              700SC motor
                              K51 prop
                              It's gonna work
You can always go for a 12 cells ESC later and then it's gonna fly!

wow i have missed a lot. well my plan is to just get the 8.4 600 and make a 7cell pack. i think im going to leave the 31mm prop i have on there for now and the esc would be impossible to water cool im just going to have to get one ment for a boat any ideas.
