i dont turn left alot. but i do like to have that option. at the moment i need about 80% left rudder just to go stright
That is so wrong and is likely the root of your turning problem. How much deflection is that at the rear do the rudder - in inches? What is probably happening is with so little rudder in the water, nothing is providing side force to counteract the prop walk. A deeper rudder should fix that. Is the weight inside the hull evenly distributed left/right?

i think he means when your rudder is at 80% to keep it straight how far is the trailing edge of the rudder from centre
thats a huge amount of drag. as fluid said you dont have enough rudder in the water to counteract the prop walk, then when you try and turn left the hull cant lean over much before the rudder comes out of the water. here is a pic of mine with they other rudder
gona order the same as you have as soon as steven wakes up and turns on for european shipping and se if that helps.
it shure do handle awsome in right hand turns though lol
tnx.
i have no idea what mine is. but it almost holds up with a SV with some amo motor in it but ones i dont have to use the rudder just to stay stright and i get it less wet i should run sircles around it
iam only running a 9xl on 4s with a modded 447/3 prop. i only run for 2-3 minutes at a time.i think your setup with the rite prop should see 50 mph fairly easily if your not after long run times
im going for something inbetween speed and runtime so time wil show what speeds i get out of this. but can always swap props back and forwars as to what i feel like that day.
Another thing to consider might be your tabs. They look flush with the bottom of the hull from the photos. Try lifting them up about 2mm (not angle, actually raise them up). Run the left one level, and try angling the right one down a degree or two (not much needed). That will help loosen it up a bit, and help it track straight.
