Delta Force Cyber Storm 33 turning problems

have a Delta Force Cyber Storm 33 that i tryed today. but for some reason it turns to the right. i can make it turn left but it uses half the pond to do so were if i turn right its about 2 boat lengths.
have the speedmaster mono hardware system on it
http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=ros-monosys but im wondering of the rudder is to small.
    running etti 150 race 13XL and 2 X 3c flightmax 5000 on a x640.

i have the same boat with the same hardware except for the rudder i used this one as it brings the front edge of the rudder level with the leading edge of the prop http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...rod=tfl-502b20

the one you have is about 6mm longer out from the transom and 30mm longer.
and of course out of stock lol.

but should those 6 and 30mm have such an impact ? or can it be that when i try to turn left that there is to little of the rudder in the water soteh 30 mm longer rudder make all the difference ?

Surface-drive models will always turn a bit better to the right, but a mono should do better than that. When you turn a deep vee hull to the left the rudder is lifted out of the water as the hull banks into the turn. There is probably not enough rudder left in the water to turn the boat. Either get a longer rudder or move the one you have down....tough to do with those big trim tabs.

Another possible cause is not enough turn on the servo, this can happen if the servo horn is not centered when the transmitter is centered. Set the transmitter to 'zero' trim and make sure the servo horn is in neutral. Set the EPA to the max % for a left turn.

the turn radius on the rudder is actually better to the left then to the right but still it drags to the right when i drive and the turn radius of the boat to the left is terrible. wil have to try some more tomorow.
would help it the boat was running less wet ?
at the moment it is far from dialed in so it is running wet +2

far as i know you want at least the dia of your prop below. so at least 40mm
                    mine is 45mm but i run a 47mm prop

whats your strut and trim tabs set to. i run on only small chop and found the best setup for mine is about 1.5 deg up on the prop and about 1/2 deg down on the trim tabs c.o.g 32% runs on just the last inch or two of the hull and if it gets a bit off air it flys level lands flat gives a little chin walk and keeps going
