Have owned several of the "TOP" brands and also zippies/rhinos/flightmax. Haven't had a problem with any lipo's ever except Maxamps.

6 sets of Flightmax (2s, 20C 5000Mah) used to date in a SV, UL-1, BJ and Miss Vegas this season. Strong packs and run cooler than my similat FlightPower and Poly RC packs.

2 Sets of 30c 4S 5000mah packs in my DF-33 knock off with a Neu 1521.,,,, 55Mph on freshly charged packs

By comparison, my 1 year old Flight power and Elite 30C, 4500Mah packs,,,,51 Mph and they all run MUCH hotter than the Zips.

How they are in the long run, we will see, but again, for the price especially the 2S packs, how can you go wrong?!?!?

I would think so, all of my packs still charge to slightly above 4.20V

Maybe the fact that they are just newer, but when I hit the throttle,,,Wooo Hooooo!

I recently bought 4 Elite 35C 4S 5000's. Almost $800 ; run very well, but several balance wires came off from bad soldering. I run them in my 4S2P setups & they are fine so far. My Elite 35C 2S 5000's have done the same , and each has began to swell when running 2X2S in series in the UL-1. When cooled down, they shrink.
                Whatever.

I have 2 Zippy 30C 4S 5000's [ less than $200 delivered to CA in 5 days]. I run them singly in my VS-1/UL-1 combo & so far , at about 3-4 runs each, they rock.

I agree, fresh off the charger they have amazing punch from "seat of the pants" observations. I'm impressed so far

i have run a few of the zippy cells (zippy, rhino,) and they have all held up well even when pushed hard. i brought one of the new turnigy 4s 25c 5000s acouple of weeks ago and this to is just as good as the rhinos, heaps of punch

indeed, my mistake, much more 'expensive' and burst rating though, however irrelevant to the thread lol cuz

When I used to run trucks and cars I used to hang out at RC Monster forums which in my opinion is the most knowledgeable place to get info on brush less motors and lipo's.....there are some real gu-ru's over the there and a few geniuses.....here is one post I found on mah and c ratings
