Saleens, I have two sets of cf props, 40mm r+l and 48mm r+l, also a receiver pack w/switch. If you'd like to have either, you can have them free of charge. I'm with the other guys, if I have parts lying around that I'm not going to use I'd rather give them to someone who needs them. Besides, you seem like a pretty good guy to me.

i dont think i can use a flex cable with this...the outdrives are for 4mm shafts...and although there are flex cables that will fit that size, i dont know where to find a flex shaft w/ a 4mm prop shaft....i think what ill do is use a 5mm to 4mm connector and then use a 4mm solid shaft going to the outdrives and connect to a U-joint and then two two of those 4mm to 3/16 shafts steven has.....ill just use two of those graupner 4mm to 4mm U joints....they are better quality and run smoother than the traxxas ones...

exactly! Maybe I should send him a couch too, I cant think of any other way to get rid of it. Yeah so you're getting outdrives and a couch. Then I can put more shelves in for all my new s%*t.

it could be....i just hope the clearence between the hull and where the flex shaft would enter the outdrive is wide enough....too little space and wont be enough room for the flex shaft to be able to turn as far as the outdrive will...

You could always put spacers in to make the drive sit out further. The normal villain u-joint is a bit over 1 and 1/4" long. I dont know much a all about flex shafts, but that blackjack outdrive doesnt look much different than these. I might make templates before I send them out, in case you need some more custom parts.

btw I already finished the backing plates, real simple you'll just have to epoxy them to the inside of the hull and buy some nuts and bolts to put em together.

also yeah it is good your mom is cautious, I'll tell what, I was nervous as an adult picking up a jet drive in person from another person online. Never can be sure, luckily I'm about a 1000miles away so no worries for your mother. Your parts will coincidently most likely be shipped in a OFE box :).
