I would say the 10xl is a faster option and still reliable. I fried a few 9xl on 5s but went to a 10 xl on 5s when I had my Triton and it was fast and could cary a 51mm prop.

i bought a set of 4s becoz i bought the 8xl so all is good i have tried it on 5s and its uncontrollable tbh

havent tryed my drifter S on 5c with a 8XL. but it was vicked on 10XL.
