Guess I'd better get to work on my P-Mono so I can attempt to bump that record myself...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

I'll go one further. I'm close to the limit of this N2 boat, with some more tuning of both boat and driver it should be capable of running close to 21 flat. That being said, it's still a heat race boat with quite a few concessions to made to being tough and survive heat racing abuse. It's at least a half pound heavier than it needs to be and there are some drive line tricks left out for ease of maintinance. The scary thing is it will run 12 second laps in heat race trim.
Mark, Chris and I were sitting at dinner (late last night) and after some serious thought figure an N2 could potentially break 20 seconds. Essentially all the FE hydro classes should run sub 20 second times. The other thought is that either P or Q class boats may end up being the fastest based on power to weight nad the difficulty of getting the bigger heavy boats to turn efficiently.
I learned one thing for sure, I need a new color scheme, the red and white boat is hard for me to really judge the attitute and direction. The white sponsons get lost in te rooster tail and turn fin spray. The red tub blend in more than you'd think if the water is at all brown.
I have to thank the Grims for all th help and support. I love time trials!Brian "Snowman" Buaas
