    graupner GTX-650 OB questions

    what size prop does it come with?


    is it meant as a surface drive or sub-surface?

    I think the max prop on that unit is 33mm. they are the the threaded style. There are adaptors to run 3/16th props. But the cavitation plate limits the size. Steven has told me they will not hold up to a brushless app.

      BL...i was going to keep is brushed....i will switch out the 540 motor in the SW26 once i want to make it faster....then ill save up and buy the OB unit for it and put an outboard on it....

        Glad you asked, when I opened the box to look for the size, I noticed graupner no longer includes a prop with the outboard that doesn't come with a motor.

        Tom is correct about the size. Max is 33mm. The outboard with the included motor has a 31mm prop on it.

          hmmm...maybe i could use twin 650 OB's...ill just use the other speed contol piranha2 gave me and buy some cheap 6 cell packs...should make a quick little boat....
