    blast cat VS hpr115

i have been looking to build a twin cat and so far i been looking at the hpr115 and the blast cat 40. anyone ever done a blast cat ? they are a bit cheaper but do they handle as good for sport use ?
thinking speeds in the 50-60mph (atleast for now)
maybe some KB45 or feiago motors to start with and then work my way up to neu\hacker\lehner when my skills are there.

    all input is apritiated.

AC Models Blast Cat is very stable, loves chop and wind. A guy I ran with a few years ago had one with a mid mod zen and it ran upper 40's and cornered really well. Never seen an electric version, only gas. Sounds like an interesting build, good luck!

Hans will be happy to hear that. Are you going to get the all glass version of the hpr06 or carbon. I got the carbon/kevlar and it is a very nice hull. Still in the build stage, if you want to see performance look on youtube. They push 100mph with these hulls.

i wil be getting the Carbon Kevlar 520 CHF one.
sendt a few mails back and forth with hanspeter now. but if you already have the hull then maybe you can help me out a little. been trying to get a good anser out of hanspeter but he seems to missunderstand every time.

Steering Hydraulic HPR 115 Alu Black Anodized 120 CHF is that rudder with the 2 hydrolic pushrods or is it just the pushrods them self ?
120 CHF seems a bit steap for only the hydrolics but thats just me lol

I am pretty sure, 90%, that is just the rams. You need all three parts 457chf. You might want the carbon plates as well, the mounts fit the 19 series lehner, and I think the 15 series neu.

good thing i was planing to power it with kb`s at first.
and this looks more and more like a project just buying all the parts without the wife getting to know what it all chost.
then add 25% tax to get it into the country.

                      Hanspeter doesn't do discounts.
The prices are a given fact.

never asked for a discont. only a total price. with everything i needs.
his page is lacking alot of the parts he have for sale such as the carbon plates and motor mounts.

Just tell Hans everything you want and ask for a shipping cost. Add the shipping to the total of the parts and wire the $$. In a few weeks you will be a happy camper:-)
